In 2007, we replaced our carpet and vinyl flooring with strand-woven bamboo flooring. This is a super durable flooring and I have yet to damage it with two small kids, dog and cat. Strand-woven takes shredded bamboo and combines it in a resin so it is practically indestructable. I just love the way they look too!
